Toward a comprehensive Basic Law: Strengthening Freedom of Expression as a Constitutional Principle in the Legal System
This comprehensive research is centered around a proposal for a new constitutional law for freedom of expression. Together with my colleagues, we wrote an article calling for the establishment of freedom of expression as a fundamental human right in our legal framework.
Although the judicial system recognizes the existence of the right to freedom of expression, this right has not been clearly established in the Basic Law. Therefore, this paper aims to present a modern and comprehensive proposal for enshrining freedom of expression in the Basic Law. The proposal also includes derivatives of freedom of expression - freedom of the press, freedom of demonstration, freedom of assembly, etc. - and seeks to provide clear content that reinforces the recognition of the high status of this right, while addressing the particular challenges that states face today.
The paper is divided into three parts: The first presents the evolution of the recognition of freedom of expression in judicial decisions and the existing constitutional order in this area; the second part, which provides a comparative view, reviews the position of freedom of expression in two democracies: The United States and Germany. The third part presents the proposed Basic Law itself, with detailed explanations of each of its provisions.

Organizing biometric data in the age of artificial intelligence: Challenges and solutions
Biometric data is a set of measurements associated with an individual's unique physical characteristics, such as fingerprints, handprints, facial recognition, voice, and retina. The uses of this data have expanded with the advancement of AI technologies, making it a hot topic in privacy protection discussions. As the pace of AI development accelerates, the challenges of regulating the use of biometric data are increasing, especially with regard to the risks of using it for commercial purposes or mass surveillance. Despite legislative attempts such as the EU's Artificial Intelligence Directive (to regulate the use of biometric data through multiple definitions and levels of severity), there are clear discrepancies in the regulation of these data. There are clear differences in the regulation of these laws between countries. In the absence of clear regulation, AI technologies can evolve into a tool to interfere in the personal lives of individuals and influence vital decisions, which reinforces the importance of developing effective regulations that protect the rights of individuals, ensure transparency in the use of technology, and minimize the risks associated with its rapid development compared to the ability of legislation to keep up with it.
