A story of dedication and generosity

When we talk about Monia, we're talking about a true model of leadership by example. She didn't just join Harmony as a regular volunteer, she chose to be part of the change-making process. In times of crisis, she was the first to step forward. In times of calm, she was planning and building for the future.

"Monia doesn't wait to be asked for something. She sees the need and takes action. That's what characterizes true leaders."

As the leader of the marketing team, she didn't just manage tasks, she built a work culture based on mutual respect and collective creativity. Her team of 15 volunteers works like a harmonious beehive, and every member is a testament to her inspiring leadership style. She listens before she speaks, encourages before she criticizes, and celebrates others' successes before her own.

During the security crisis, her role stood out exceptionally. She was one of the actual founders of the HarmonySOS platform, working late nights to ensure people got the right information at the right time. She wasn't just a doer, she was a partner in thinking, planning and executing.

What really sets Monia apart is her ability to balance strategic work with day-to-day details. You see her discussing long-term expansion plans, and then you find her reviewing the design of a social media post. This attention to detail, while never losing sight of the big picture, is what makes her an exceptional leader.

200 hours of volunteering isn't just a number - it's 200 hours of genuine giving, continuous learning, and building bridges between people.

Today, we honor Monia not only for what she did, but for what she stands for: The true spirit of volunteerism, servant leadership, and the belief that teamwork works wonders. She is a living example to every Harmony volunteer, and an inspiration to all who seek to serve their community.

Future vision: Leading a professional networking research team

Not satisfied with only fieldwork, Monia sought to understand professional networking from its scientific roots. In early 2025, she launched a groundbreaking research initiative that aims to study the dynamics of professional networking from an academic perspective, combining theory and practice.

Under her leadership, a research team of 6 specialized members is developing a comprehensive practical guide in Arabic - the first of its kind in our community. The guide combines the theoretical foundations of social network science with practical tools that are immediately usable. The guide is expected to be released in April 2026, positioning Harmony as a scholarly reference in the field of professional networking, not just an event organizer.

This initiative reflects Monia's vision for the future: It's not enough to connect people, we must understand how successful relationships are built and document this knowledge for future generations.
